The Bauchi State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists(NUJ), has congratulated the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the State Governor, Mukhtar Gidado, on his nomination for the 2026 Nigeria Union of Journalists Milestone Recognition of Media Icons in Nigeria.
According to a congratulatory message signed by the State Council Secretary, Isiyaka Ismail Wunti, which was made available to Journalists on Monday, “Your nomination for the 2026 NUJ Milestone Recognition of Media Icons in Nigeria reflects your outstanding contributions to journalism and your enduring commitment to the profession and public service.”
The union said that “This recognition celebrates your professional achievements and the positive impact of your work on journalism, media development, and democratic engagement throughout your distinguished career in Nigeria today.
“As a former Deputy National President of the NUJ and a respected media professional, your achievement brings pride to Bauchi State and inspires colleagues nationwide within the journalism profession today.
“The Council, under Comrade Isah Garba Gadau’s leadership, wishes you continued success and greater accomplishments, and celebrates this well-deserved honour with you and your family on this memorable occasion today,” the message concluded.
