Famous Nigerian socialite,  Bobrisky has said that life abroad has brought him the peace he never found in Nigeria, describing his decision to leave the country as one of the best he has ever made.

In  an Instagram story posted on Saturday, 7 November, 2026,  Bobrisky reflected on nearly two years away from Nigeria.

He said the constant cycle of drama, gossip and fights at home had made the environment toxic, and stepping away had transformed his life.

“I can tell you for free, Nigeria is such a toxic environment. Every day, it’s one fight, drama, or gossip after another. Leaving that space has brought me so much peace, and honestly, I’ve never looked this pretty, happy, and refreshed in my life,” he wrote.

The crossdresser added that he has gone almost two years without a single personal fight or public disagreement and is determined to keep it that way.

“Peace looks so good on me, and I promise myself that I will never allow anyone or anything to take this beautiful peace away from me. I’m protecting my happiness, my growth, and my peace at all costs,” he stated.

Bobrisky left Nigeria in November 2024 after a public dispute with the Federal Government over claims that he did not properly serve his prison sentence. He had been sentenced in April 2024 to six months in jail without the option of a fine for naira abuse after pleading guilty to charges of mutilating the currency by spraying notes at social events.

Since relocating, he has repeatedly spoken about prioritising his mental health and finding greater acceptance abroad.
