The Director General of NARSDA, Dr Halilu Ahmad Shabba has stated that collaboration on consistent capacity building between the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS) and the National space Research and Development Agency (NARSDA) is key to personnel productivity and the successful operations of NCoS.
Halilu said this during the opening ceremony of a five-day Geographic Information System (GIS) training for NCoS personnel at NARSDA office, Abuja
Dr John Ayogu, who represented the DG, emphasised that NARSDA is an agency established to support other agencies in terms of pilot projects amongst others for national development
Ayogu added that collaboration between NCoS could go beyond training to the attainment of space capabilities and enhancement of quality of life.
