On Saturday, 13 September, 2025, ACAOSA Global, in partnership with Brainy Oaks Education and professional consultants, hosted a transformative capacity-building programme for teachers.

The event, held at the School Library, brought together educators from Anwar-ul-Islam College Agege, Anwar-ul-Islam Girls High School Ojokoro, and officials of the Quality Assurance Department of the Anwar-ul-Islam Movement.

Speaking at the event, the President-General of ACAOSA Global, Alh. AbdulFatai Afolabi, PhD, described the programme as a landmark initiative designed to strengthen teaching capacity in a rapidly evolving, technology-driven world.

He stressed that teachers remain the foundation of educational excellence and that investing in their professional growth is an investment in the future of students, the schools, and society at large. He commended the dedication of educators who, despite challenges, continue to inspire the next generation and urged them to embrace innovation, particularly the opportunities that Artificial Intelligence now offers in modern classrooms.
The training featured insightful sessions by professional facilitators who guided participants through the essentials of professional development, effective lesson preparation and delivery, classroom management, and the integration of technology and AI in education. Teachers were encouraged to adopt reflective practices, embrace peer collaboration, and adapt their instructional methods to meet the diverse needs of 21st-century learners. Special emphasis was placed on how AI can personalize learning, boost student engagement, and simplify administrative tasks such as grading, giving teachers more room to focus on meaningful teaching.

The programme was graced by ACAOSA Global’s executive leadership, including Alh. Mufutau Otun (Training Committee Chairman and Global VP3), Alh. Adilu Abina (Global VP1), Alh. Kamoru Olayiwola Tijani (GGS), Mr. Taiwo Owolabi (Global Financial Secretary), Mr. Segun Shosanya (GSS), Mr. Adekunle Johnson (GPS), Alh. Shonibare Mohammed (Asst. Chief Whip) and Mr. Tanimowo Shakiru (Assistant GSS).
Representing the Anwar-ul-Islam Movement, officials expressed heartfelt appreciation to ACAOSA Global for organizing such a timely initiative. They noted that the training had not only sharpened the skills of their educators but had also opened fresh perspectives on how technology and AI can transform teaching and learning. They pledged their continued support and assured that the knowledge acquired would be translated into stronger classroom outcomes.

The event concluded on a high note with the presentation of certificates of participation to all teachers in attendance. This gesture both recognized their commitment and encouraged them to apply the strategies and insights gained.
By the close of the programme, it was clear that the initiative had reignited passion among educators, equipping them with the confidence and tools to embrace innovation and deliver quality education.
