The family of the late philanthropist and industrialist, Alhaji Aminu Dantata, has disclosed that that he will be buried in Madina next to his wife, Rabi’a, who died in 2023, in accordance with his final wishes.
Following his death in Abu Dhabi on the night of Friday, 27 June, 2025, a funeral prayer in absentia was held in Kano on Saturday, 28 June, 2025
The Kano State chapter of the Council of Ulama also organized the Salatul Ghaib; a special prayer offered for the deceased when the body is not present to honour the elder statesman and philanthropist.
The prayer attracted thousands of people from Kano and beyond.
