Leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) of Ward B, Abaranje–Okerube in Igando-Ikotun LCDA have presented an Award of Appreciation to the Chairman of Igando-Ikotun Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Snr. Comr. Lasisi Ayinde Akinsanya, in recognition of his pivotal role in facilitating the construction of a secondary school in Abaranje community.
The award was presented in appreciation of Akinsanya’s leadership, commitment, and strategic support toward the successful intervention of Hon. Kehinde Olaide Joseph, Member of the Lagos State House of Assembly representing Alimosho Constituency II, whose efforts culminated in the establishment of the much-needed secondary school for the community.
The political party leaders described the project as a major milestone that will significantly enhance access to quality education for children and youths in Abaranje and its environs.
They commended Akinsanya for his dedication to grassroots development and for working closely with relevant stakeholders to ensure the project became a reality.
In his response, Comr. Akinsanya expressed profound gratitude for the honour and formally dedicated the award to Hon. Kehinde Olaide Joseph, applauding his vision, commitment, and passion for educational advancement in Alimosho Constituency II.
He emphasized that the secondary school stands as a testament to purposeful leadership and effective collaboration in public service.
The event ended with calls for sustained unity among party leaders and continuous partnership in delivering impactful projects that will foster development and improve the well-being of residents across Igando-Ikotun LCDA.
