A High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, has dismissed a N20 billion suit instituted by a legal practitioner, Ejumejowo Anthony against two Abuja based hospitals and the FCT Minister on the alleged negligence he claimed to have led to his wife’s death. A Federal Capital Territory High Court in Apo presided by Justice Christopher Oba has struck out the certificate forgery case against the Senator representing Bayelsa Central Senatorial District, Benson Konbowei. Konbowei was arraigned before the court on March 26 on three counts. In the charge marked: CR/028/2023, the Inspector General of Police accused Konbowei of fraudulently forging a document titled ‘Certificate of Exemption’ with number 000256454 and dated July 4, 2008, among others.
