It was gathered that Ubah died in a hotel in London, the United Kingdom, early Saturday, 27 July, 2024. He had left for London two days ago. His death was also confirmed on a group chat of senators who had started to pour in tributes. A Lagos State Sexual Offences & Domestic Violence Court has sentenced Oluwafemi Asekeji to life imprisonment for defiling his 12-year-old daughter.
