Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), have arrested a 42-year-old Angolan businessman Mbala Dajou Abuba at the Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport (MAKIA), Kano for attempting to traffic a large consignment of cocaine, which he ingested, to Istanbul Turkey. President Tinubu on Friday, 28 February, 2025 signed the 2025 Appropriation Bill into law. The National Assembly had passed a total of N54.99 trillion for the 2025 fiscal year. The budget, initially N49.7 trillion, was raised to N54.2 trillion by the legislature after President Bola Tinubu applied for the increase.
