Borno State Governor, Prof: Babagana Zulum has supervised the distribution of the federal government’s donated food relief to over 10,000 families in Mafa local government area. The distribution took place on Tuesday, 20 August, 2024, in four centres at Mafa town, the headquarters of the local government council. The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has called on the government at all levels to provide adequate resources for humanitarian causes considering the quantum of human rights violations occasioned by armed conflicts and natural disasters in the country. Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has approved the reconstruction of the 8.17 kilometres Magboro-Makogi Road in Obafemi Owode Local Government Area. The approval will also cover the Magboro underbridge. Prince Abiodun made the announcement on Monday at the flag-off of the 2024 Rice Harvesting Season, which took place in Igboko village.
