In demonstration of his commitment and passion for the development of youths in Agbado Oke-Odo Local Council Development Area of Lagos State, the Chairman of the council, Ishola Jimoh Abiodun has given out free General Certificate of Education (GCE) forms to 500 indigent youths resident in the council area, reports thegazellenews.com
Ishola disclosed this cheering news to newsmen in his office, at the council secretariat on Tuesday, 19 August, 2025.

The council Chairman stated that he is very passionate about the growth and development of children and youth in general, because they are leaders of tomorrow and as such if, “as a nation,we fail to invest in their future,we are sitting on a keg of gun powder”.
Ishola is popularly refer to as ” Imolede”, “The Light Has Arrived” by residents and staff of the council because of the positive steps he has taken since his assumption of office.

He added that youth development and empowerment is one of the cardinal agenda of his administration and stressed that he would not leave any stone unturned to ensure that children and youth in the council area feel the positive impact of his administration.
The council boss assured all residents that his administration will ensure that dividend of democracy get to them, irrespective of their social, ethnic, religious and political background.
He submitted, “in the coming days, towards marking our 100 days in office, we will work assiduously to ensure that all residents feel the positive impact of our administration in one sector or the other, in infrastructure, health, education, environment, economy, security, sports and empowerment of the youth, the aged and the widow”.
Ishola appealed to residents of Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA to continue to support his administration by performing their civic duties of prompt payment of their levies and rates to the council’s purse and remain law abiding citizens.
