Tragedy occurred on Saturday, 2 November, 2024 at Ohokobe Ndume, Umuahia North LGA of Abia State as a 70-year-old man, Mr Stephen Irobunda allegedly shot dead a youth identified as Bright Odizuru. Irobunda escaped being lynched in for allegedly killing a young Odizuru. The victim, Odizuru, was said to have been shot dead on Saturday, 2 November, 2024, by the suspect during a war of words between the aged man and some youths in the community. A man named Muftau Adefalu, have been arrested by the operatives of the Ogun State Police Command for allegedly killing his ex-wife Yetunde Olayiwole during a fight in Sango-Ota area of the state. The incident occurred at about 8:00 pm on Friday, 1 November, 2024. The 37-year-old suspect, it was gathered was said to have had a misunderstanding Olayiwole which resulted in the fight.
