The city of Lagos was lit up on Saturday, 25 July, 2026, as the PBAT/KOH Consolidated Renewed Hope Group was launched, reports thegazellenews.com

The launching ceremony took place at Honourable Gbolahan Yishawu’s constituency office at Awolowo Road in Ikoyi.
It has in attendance the Women Leader for the state chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaja Eletu; the Chairman of Yaba Local Council Development Area, Honourable Bayo Adefuye; and Professor Oguntuase among other party leaders.

The Director General of the group, Honourable Hakeem Adisa Bamgbola, stated that the group was created to mobilise support for the reelection of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the election of the Governorship of the party in Lagos, Dr Kadir Obafemi Hamzat.
“The task of mobilising support and votes for PBAT and KOH is a collective one and we must all be involved.
“This group will go into the nooks and crannies of the state to mobilise people for the purpose of delivering APC candidates in the election particularly PBAT and KOH,” Bamgbola, former Secretary of the party in Lagos told journalists.
According to him, both President Tinubu and Dr Hamzat are quality products that the party is proud of, “hence all we need is to let people know that voting and supporting them and APC will bring development and growth to Nigeria and Lagos”.

At the event on Saturday, state and local government coordinators were inaugurated and have been mandated to put the group in place at the various wards across the state.
“Our job is to create awareness about the achievements of the Tinubu administration such as NELFUND, the Lagos-Calabar coastal, the Sokoto-Badagry highway, the various infrastructure going on across the country, the floating of the Naira, increased in money acruable to state and local governments which has engendered development and prompt salary payments and others,” Bamgbala said.
