According to the statement, President Tinubu is visiting the state on a condolence visit over the death of renowned Islamic scholar, Sheikh Dairu Usman Bauchi.
The statement reads, “the Bauchi State Government wishes to inform the general public that His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, will be in Bauchi State tomorrow on a condolence visit over the passing of our renowned Islamic scholar, Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi.
“In view of this important visit, the State Government appeals to residents to conduct themselves peacefully and responsibly, and to fully cooperate with security agencies deployed across the state to ensure a smooth, hitch-free, and peaceful presidential engagement.
“The public is hereby notified that some major routes leading to the Sheikh’s mosque and other key locations will be temporarily closed or diverted from 1 pm to 6pm for traffic control and security reasons. These measures are purely for safety and effective traffic management during the President’s visit.
“Residents are therefore advised to plan their movements accordingly, obey traffic instructions, and avoid restricted areas during the period of the visit.
