Breaking: 196 New Cases Of #COVID19 Reported; 87 In Lagos; Number Rises To 1728 In Nigeria

Lagos continues to be the epicentre of coronavirus pandemic in Nigeria with the state recording another huge 87 confirmed cases in the latest update on the pandemic, The Gazelle News.com reports.
The National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) revealed on its Twitter handle that 196 new cases have been reported nationwide as at 11.55pm on Wednesday, 29 April, 2020.
Out of this number, Lagos has 87 cases, 24 were reported in Kano, 18 in Gombe, 17 in Kaduna, 16 in FCT, 10 in Katsina, 8 in Sokoto, 7 in Edo, 6 in Borno and 1 each in Yobe, Ebonyi and Adamawa.
The Gazelle News.com also reports that the total number of #COVID19 cases in Nigeria has risen to 1728.
