The President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari has ordered a total lockdown of Lagos, Abuja and Ogun State in a bid to control the spread of the deadly Coronavirus in the country.
The Gazelle News.com reports that the President made this announcement on Sunday, 29 March, 2020 during a special broadcast to the nation on the update of the Coronavirus pandemic.
President Buhari stated that there would be total restriction on inter and intra-state transport in the aforementioned states and the Federal Capital Territory.
He stated that the county is committed to doing everything to control the spread of the pandemic.
He assured that his administration will ensure full compliance with the order.
