Kano State is the latest state to confirm its maiden Coronavirus infection, The Gazelle News.com reports.
The National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on its verified twitter handle confirmed on Saturday, 11 April, 2020 that as at 9.30pm, the number of confirmed cases of coronavirus in Nigeria has risen to 318 with 13 new cases reported on Saturday.
Eleven of the 13 are in Lagos, one in Delta and another one in Kano.
With the entry of Kano, 19 states have now been visited with the Coronavirus pandemic in Nigeria with Lagos being the epicentre.
In the same vein, the death toll from the pandemic has reached double figure with the centre announcing a total of 10 deaths while 70 patients have been discharged after completing their treatment.
Lagos remains the epicentre rising to 174 confirmed cases, FCT 56, Osun 20 and Edo 12 among others.
