Former Secretary of the Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Honourable Lanre Ogunyemi has been declared winner of the Ojo Federal Constituency seat by the National Assembly Elections Petition Tribunal sitting in Lagos, reports thegazellenews.con
The three man panel, Panel 3 sitting at the old National Assembly complex, Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos declared Ogunyemi, former member of the Lagos State House of Assembly and his party, APC winner of the election conducted on Saturday, 25 February, 2023.
Members of the panel are: Justice Ashu A. Ewah, Chairman; Justice Abdullahi A Ozegya; and Justice M A Sambo.
Ogunyemi had challenged Oluwaseyi Ayopo Sowunim of the Labour Party who was declared the winner of the election by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
