Buni Approves Employment of 2,670 Graduates In Yobe

Yobe State Governor, Hon. Mai Mala Buni has approved the employment of 2,670 persons with degrees, diplomas and National Certificate of Education (NCE).

Buni, while speaking on the approval, said the employment would provide graduates with job opportunities, and to fill existing gaps for efficient service delivery in the state.

The breakdown of the beneficiaries include 890 holders of university degrees, 

890 Higher National Diploma and National Diploma holders, and 890 NCE holders.

According to a statement by the spokesman to the Governor, Mallam Mamman Mohammed, the beneficiaries were drawn across the 178 political wards of the 17 local government councils.

The Governor charged the beneficiaries to justify their appointment with high sense of commitment and dedication to duty to enhance service delivery.

He said: “Government has provided all parts of the state with equal opportunity and sense of belonging and ownership of governance.

“We are all stakeholders that have contributions to make to the development of our dear state.” 

He assured that his administration would continue to provide opportunities to the people to fast-track growth and development of the state.
