“Our unique selling points are: the quality and standard of our products, our prompt delivery and good customers relations,” Kayode Kolade, Managing Director of the bread company told thegazellenews.com.
Taking our correspondent round the bakery, thegazellenews.com marvelled at the clean environment and the diligent and humble staff.
“Our bakers are some of the best in the industry, this gives our products the best in their various categories,” a senior production staff told our correspondent.
City Tasty products are bromate free and have the approval of the National Agency for Foods and Drugs Administration (NAFDAC). “The quality of our products is not in doubt,” Kolade told our correspondent.

The popularity of the bread has City Tasty expanded its production and increased its output.
“As at now, we make use of over 60 bags of flour daily because we now have distributors spread all over Lagos and neighbouring Ogun States and there are plans to expand even further,” the company accountant told our correspondent.
City Tasty has different types produce in deference to the needs of the consumers. The Jumbo size is the biggest while there are: delight size, family size, super loaf, butter bread and special loaf.
City Tasty has not failed in its corporate social responsibility. Apart from employing lots of youths and women in its Aboru community location, seeing school children going to the bakery to collect free bread has become a norm for the company.
During the COVID-19 period, City Tasty did not lag behind in tackling the challenge provided by the disease.
Various loaves of bread were given out free of charge to members of the public. The management of the company took a step further by donating 500 loaves to the Lagos State Government.
The effect of this was a letter of commendation from the state government personally signed by the Governor, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu.
In the letter, Governor Sanwo-Olu commended City Tasty for its kind gesture noting that, “your kind gesture is not only commendable but also worthy of emulation”.
As thegazellenews.com concludes its visit to the bakery, Kolade spoke on the aim of the bread company.
“We will continue to produce quality bread for the public while we will not renege on our commitment to contribute to the development and growth of the society through our corporate social responsibility,” he said.
