Covid-19 Update: Lagos Discharges 17 Coronavirus Patients; Recovered Patients Now 649

The Lagos State Government has announced the discharge of 17 more coronavirus patients who have fully recovered from the virus infection, The Gazelle News.com reports.
The state Governor and Incident Commander, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, announced this on Wednesday, 20 May, 2020 while giving update on the pandemic in the state.
According to him, 6 females and 11 males were discharged from the isolation facilities at Yaba, Gbagada and the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH).
The Gazelle News.com reports further that seven of the patients were released from the Infectious Disease Hospital in Yaba; six from LUTH; and four from the Isolation Centre at Gbagada General Hospital.

COVID-19 Update by the Incident Commander, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu

Good people of Lagos,

Today, 17 more COVID19Lagos patients; 6 females and 11 males, all Nigerians were discharged from our Yaba, Gbagada and LUTH Isolation facilities to reunite with the society.

The patients, 7 from the Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba, 6 from the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) and 4 from Gbagada General Hospital Isolation centres were discharged having fully recovered and tested negative to COVID-19 in two consecutive readings.

This brings to 649 the number of #COVID19 confirmed cases that have been successfully managed and discharged in Lagos.
