Lagos State maintains its unenviable status of epicentre of coronavirus pandemic in Nigeria with the state surpassing the 3000 mark in the latest update on the virus infection in the country, reports The Gazelle News.com.
The National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) reports on twitter handle that 339 new cases were reported nationwide on Thursday, 21 May, 2020 with 139 coming from Lagos, which means the state now has 3093 cases of Covid-19 while the total number of coronavirus cases in Nigeria as a whole rises to 7016.
