The Governor of Bauchi State, Senator Bala Muhammad has been speaking on his experience while undergoing treatment for Coronavirus.
The Gazelle News.com reports that Governor Muhammad was the first Governor to test positive to Coronavirus and thus became the index case of the dreaded virus in the state.
On Thursday, 9 April, 2020 the Governor won his battle against COVID-19 when he tested negative twice to the dreaded virus and was thus certified free of the virus.
On Friday, 10 April, 2020, Governor Muhammad was back at work where he spoke on his experience.
“It was a moment of sober reflection for me. It gave me the opportunity to reflect more on life and it also gave me the opportunity to restartegise on my approach to issues and people,” he said.
Governor Muhammad expressed appreciation to well wishers for their prayers and messages during the period he was undergoing treatment saying he was deeply touched by messages of hopes from people far and wide.
