Human and vehicular movement would not be allowed in Lagos between 8pm and 6am as from Sunday, 29 March, 2020, The Gazelle News.com reports.
This directive was handed down by the state Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Friday, 27 March, 2020 while giving update on the Coronavirus pandemic in the state.
According to Governor Sanwo-Olu, the dusk-to-dawn curfew would last for two weeks at the initial stage but can be reviewed.
Sanwo-Olu stated that the curfew was imposed to allow the state government do a comprehensive disinfection of the state.
The Governor also ordered the closure of the domestic airport in the state, the General Aviation Terminal and the MM2.
“All movements in and out of Lagos through the two domestic terminals, be suspended from Sunday for two weeks in the first instance.
“The only exceptions will be flights carrying essential supplies and those on emergency operations,” the Governor said.
