The General Overseer of the Redeemed Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye has assured Nigerians that the return journey to normalcy has begin, as the lockdown order given by the Federal Government over the ravaging Corona virus pandemic will soon be over.
Speaking during the special Sunday service today the reverred man of God announced that the church pastors will soon return to their duty posts, even as he encouraged them to continue to pray for mercy.
“We bless the name of the Lord for another Sunday. Please continue to pray for His mercy.I bring good news to you, the return journey to normalcy have begin so that pastors can return to their duty post,” Adeboye noted.
Although he disclosed that the return journey to normalcy will be steady, he humbly suggested that, in future, government should include in the committee men of God, the imams and arch bishop so that they can help them in the  spiritual aspect.
He however noted that government has done creditably well because they handled what they have not done before.
Adeboye warned that the country needs to return all the glory to God, so that the victory won so far won’t be reversed. He also added that the virus will recede and not going to disappear 100 percent ,but Nigeria and Africa will be healed faster than other parts of the world.
“We need to return all the glory to God because we don’t want the victories we have won so far to be reversed. We don’t want a relapse of this scourge. May I remind you, this corona virus will receded, let nobody deceive you, it is not going to disappear. Let give all glory back to God so that He will give us a permanent victory,” he said.
The man of God urged his teeming congregation not to stop praying for Nigeria. According to him, they still need to pray against fire outbreak, flood and storms. He encouraged Nigerians to clear their gutters and waterways before the arrival of the rain.
“Our churches, prayer warriors have been praying for mercy. Please don’t stop praying for mercy for Nigeria. We really need to pray about fire outbreak because we don’t want the big one to come to pass. Pray against storms. Be sure in my own little corner, am talking to God and He will have mercy on us,” he said.
