Nigerian Afrobeats stars Davido and Rema, alongside Congolese singer Fally Ipupa, will headline the 2027 edition of Afro Nation Portugal.
The three-day festival is scheduled to hold from Wednesday, 9June to Friday, 11, June, 2027 at Praia da Rocha beach in Portimão, Algarve, Portugal, with the organisers unveiling the first wave of performers ahead of the event.
The organisers announced the lineup on Instagram, describing it as the festival’s Phase 1 lineup and urging fans to sign up for priority access to tickets.
Joining the headliners on the LIT Stage are Nigerian artistes Omah Lay, Victony and Odeal, alongside Jamaica’s Shenseea, Valiant, Bamby and Miimii KDS.
The Piano People Stage will feature amapiano heavyweights Kabza De Small and TxC, with Dlala Thukzin listed as a special guest.
Meanwhile, the Afrotronic Stage will host Caiiro, Djeff, Jamiie, Aniko and JNR SA, while the organisers said more performers would be announced later.
Announcing the first wave, the organisers wrote, “YOUR ANP27 PHASE 1 LINEUP JUST DROPPED. The wait is over,” while encouraging fans to register for priority ticket access.
Pre-sale tickets are scheduled to go live at 10 a.m. BST on Tuesday, September 29, while general ticket sales will begin at the same time on Wednesday, September 30.
The 2027 edition will bring together artistes from Afrobeats, amapiano, Afro-house and other African and Caribbean music scenes across its different performance stages.
