The Chairman of Odiolowo-Ojuwoye Local Council Development Area, Hon. Seyi Jakande, has announced the successful desilting of the Alli Lane and Abidogun Street channels, part of his HEWA Agenda to enhance community welfare and environmental sustainability.
According to him, the project aims to improve drainage and prevent flooding during heavy rains, reflecting Jakande’s commitment to creating safer environments for residents.

Jakande remarked, “The desilting is crucial for public safety and infrastructure, enhancing our drainage system to mitigate flooding risks.”
The work involved clearing debris from the waterways, improving their capacity and aesthetics.
