The Chairman of the Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Hon. (Pastor) Cornelius Ojelabi has advised Nigerians, particularly Christians to live as resurrected people who have been transformed by grace and love, reports thegazellnews.com
Ojelabi’s advice was contained in his Easter message released on Sunday, 20 April, 2025 signed by his Special Adviser on Media, Mrs Omobola Akingbehin made available to journalists including thegazellenews.com

Ojelabi emphasized the significance of the resurrection, citing Colossians 3:1, “Since you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above.”
He encouraged Christians to carry the light of Christ into a broken world, referencing Matthew 28:19.
The Lagos APC Chairman also called on Christians to reject fear and complacency, serving as a living testament to the power of the risen Savior. He urged them to forgive, love, and serve others as they have been forgiven, loved, and served by Christ.
As the forthcoming local government elections approach, Ojelabi prayed for God’s intervention in the process, seeking a peaceful, transparent, and credible outcome. He implored the Almighty to guide the hearts of those involved, ensuring the process reflects the will of the people.
He further prayed that God would grant wisdom to the electorate to make informed decisions, choosing leaders who will serve with integrity and vision. He expressed hope that the elections would usher in a new era of leadership, bringing progress and development to the grassroots.
The Lagos APC Chairman concluded by praying for Nigeria’s unity, leaders, and citizens, calling for the closure of spiritual windows that give enemies access to their lives. He wished Christians a blessed Easter, urging them to stay healthy, safe, and blessed.
