The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has announced the appointment of Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Dolapo Badmos as its Permanent Mission’s Representative to the United Nations headquarters in New York.
The Inspector General of Police, I-GP Kayode Egbetokun, approved the deployment of the former Lagos Police Public Relations Officer, describing the move as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen Nigeria’s international law enforcement engagement.
Before her new assignment, ACP Badmos served as the Assistant Commissioner of Police in Federal Operations at the Department of Force Intelligence, Abuja.
Her career has spanned various operational and administrative roles, but she is widely recognised for her outstanding tenure as Police Public Relations Officer in Lagos and Zone 2 Command, where she earned admiration for her professionalism, charisma, and media-friendly approach
Reacting to the appointment, celebrity blogger Linda Ikeji hailed Badmos’s elevation as a well-deserved recognition of her track record. In a post, she wrote:
