The philanthropist and politician, Dr. Bala Wunti, has extended warm felicitations to the people of Bauchi State and the Muslim Ummah on the occasion of Eid el-Fitr, marking the successful completion of the Holy month of Ramadan.

He urged citizens to use the period of celebration to strengthen unity, compassion, and peaceful coexistence across the state.
In a statement issued on his behalf by Abubakar Al-Sadique, Chief Communication Officer of BWSO, which was made available to Journalists on Thursday, Dr. Wunti congratulated Muslims for the spiritual discipline, sacrifice, and devotion demonstrated throughout the Ramadan fast.
He prayed that Almighty Allah accepts the prayers, fasting, and acts of charity performed during the sacred month, and grants continued peace, prosperity, and stability to Bauchi State and Nigeria at large.
Dr. Wunti noted that Ramadan teaches the enduring values of patience, generosity, humility, and service to humanity, urging citizens to sustain these virtues even beyond the holy month.
He also encouraged the people of Bauchi State to continue supporting the less privileged and strengthening the bonds of brotherhood and mutual respect within their communities.
Looking ahead to the political activities leading to the 2027 general elections, Dr. Wunti called on political actors, supporters, and particularly the youth to embrace decent and issue-based politics that focuses on ideas, policies, and the development of Bauchi State.
He stressed that healthy democratic engagement must be guided by civility, dialogue, and respect for differing views.
Dr Wunti further appealed to all citizens to shun political violence, hate speech, and any actions capable of undermining the peace and stability of the state, emphasizing that the progress of Bauchi depends on unity and peaceful participation in the democratic process.
Dr. Wunti also reaffirmed his resolve to continue serving the people of Bauchi State, particularly through initiatives aimed at improving the wellbeing and opportunities of youth, women, and other less-privileged members of society.
The politician emphasized that sustainable development and social support for vulnerable groups, especially people living with disabilities, youth and women remain central to his commitment to the progress of the state.
He wished all Muslims in Bauchi State and across the country a joyous, peaceful, and blessed Eid el-Fitr celebration.
