The Chairman of Agbado Oke-Odo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Mayor Abiodun Jimoh Isola Ejigbadero, on Thursday, 26 February, 2026, presented free Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) forms to 500 beneficiaries in a landmark educational empowerment programme held at the Council Secretariat.
The initiative, described as a strategic intervention to promote access to tertiary education, is part of the administration’s continued investment in human capital development and youth empowerment across the council area.

Delivering his address to the participants, Mayor Ejigbadero expressed delight at the successful rollout of the programme, noting that it reflects his administration’s firm commitment to the future of young people in Agbado Oke-Odo.
“Today marks the official presentation of free JAMB forms to 500 youths in the council area, an event he described with great joy.”

He recalled that shortly after assuming office in 2025, his administration distributed 500 free General Certificate Examination (GCE) forms to indigent students — a first in the history of the LCDA.

“From the inception of our administration last year, we demonstrated our commitment to the educational advancement of our youths with the distribution of free GCE forms to 500 beneficiaries.”
“Today’s event is another giant step towards ensuring a secure and better future for our youths,” the Chairman stated.
Emphasizing the pivotal role of education in nation-building, he stressed that access to academic opportunities must not be limited by financial constraints.
“Education is the foundation for progress, peace and stability in any nation. By providing these free JAMB forms, we are ensuring that our brilliant youths are given the opportunity to pursue their academic dreams, regardless of their background,” he said.

He urged the beneficiaries to maximize the opportunity by preparing diligently and excelling in the forthcoming examination.
“I appeal to you to remain focused and determined. Let your success speak for you and make your parents and Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA proud,” he charged.
The Council Manager, Mrs. Fregene Gbemisola, commended the Chairman’s passion for educational growth, noting that his administration has consistently prioritized youth development.
The Head of Department for Education, Mrs. Oyalowo Sarah, also encouraged beneficiaries to take full advantage of the opportunity and strive to come out in flying colours.
The event was graced by a broad spectrum of political office holders, legislative members, management staff, and departmental heads of the council.

Among them were: the Vice Chairman of Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA, Hon. Shobayo Kehinde; the Leader of the Legislative Arm, Hon. Wasiu Aduragbemi; the Chief Whip, Hon. Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Miss Semiat Ifedolapo described the gesture as a huge financial relief, noting that the cost of the JAMB form had posed a challenge for her family.
She expressed gratitude to the Chairman and promised to justify the opportunity through academic excellence.
Miss Alabi Ifeoluwa Olamide said the initiative had renewed her hope of gaining admission into a higher institution and assured the council that she would study hard to succeed.
Master Abolade Emmanuel thanked the council leadership for investing in students’ futures and pledged to make the community proud.
Master Yusuf Jamiu described the free form as a golden opportunity that would shape his academic journey, while Master Olaleye Useni expressed deep appreciation and promised to remain focused in his preparation for the examination.
The free JAMB forms initiative further reinforces the Ejigbadero administration’s agenda of inclusive governance and equitable access to opportunities.
As the 500 beneficiaries prepare for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), expectations remain high that the programme will produce outstanding results and serve as a catalyst for long-term socio-economic development within Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA.
