The former Permanent Secretary and Auditor General for Local Government in Lagos, Muhammad Mubashiru Hassan is dead, reports thegazellenews.com 

Hassan, popularly called MM by admirers and associates, died in the evening of Saturday, 22 November, 2025.

He was in his 60s.

News of his death was broken by a statement from the family signed by High Chief Shakirudeen Lawal, Onisaja of Ojo Kingdom.

The statement stated that he died after a brief illness and will be buried on Sunday, 23 November, 2025, at his Ojo residence.

Hassan was a professional accountant and author. He was an examiner with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) where he was a also a Fellow.

He was once the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Lekki Concession Company (LCC) in the pre-Endsars days.
