Former Big Brother Naija winner, Phyna, has once again called out the Dangote Group over what she describes as negligence in handling her sister’s medical condition.
According to her, her younger sister, Ruth Otabor, who was crushed by a Dangote trailer in Auchi just six days after her graduation, has been battling for her life after losing one of her legs and suffering severe internal injuries.

Phyna said:
“Dangote Group is gambling with my sister’s life. Her bladder, lungs, and reproductive organs are badly damaged. We agreed that she should be taken to Lagoon Hospital in Lagos to stabilize her before being flown abroad for treatment. But now that she is at Lagoon, Dangote Group is insisting on a written statement from the hospital declaring that they cannot handle her case and that she is fit to travel.
If it were Dangote’s child in Ruth’s condition, would he not have flown her out immediately? I already sent them her medical scans. The doctor said she will be hospitalized for a long time because her injuries are severe, yet confirmed that although risky, she can still travel. For days now, Dangote Group has stopped responding to my messages.
You may be powerful, but remember it only takes one thing to bring a mighty man down.”
Phyna’s emotional outcry has once again drawn public attention to her sister’s critical state as she continues to demand urgent intervention from the Dangote Group.
