The Former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, has received with profound sadness the news of the passing of Alhaji Audu Sule Katagum, Wazirin Katagum and former Deputy Governor of Bauchi State.

According to a Press release issued by Alkasim Abdulkadir, Media Aide to Ambassador Yusuf Maitama Tuggar which was made available to Journalists on Monday, the former Minister described the late statesman as a respected elder, trusted leader, and devoted son of Katagum whose wisdom, humility, and unwavering service touched countless lives.

“Today, Bauchi State and the Katagum Emirate have lost one of their finest sons. His counsel, kindness, and commitment to the welfare of his people will be sorely missed,” he said.

Amb Tuggar extends his deepest condolences to the Emir of Katagum, the Katagum Emirate Council, the family of the deceased, and the people of Bauchi State.

He prays that Almighty Allah forgives his shortcomings, grants him Aljannatul Firdaus, and comforts all those grieving this painful loss.
