Veteran soul and R&B singer, Angie Stone, has died at the age of 63.
According to Deadline, Angie passed away after being involved in a Sprinter van accident in Alabama, US.

The accident occurred as she was leaving a performance early that morning in Montgomery.
The three-time Grammy nominee’s daughter, Diamond Stone, confirmed the sad news on social media.

“My mummy is gone,” Diamond Stone wrote on Facebook.
Angie Stone’s representative, Deborah R. Champagne, also confirmed her passing.
Angie rose to fame as a member of The Sequence, the first all-female group signed to Sugar Hill Records.
