FESTXP Africa has rolled out a digital platform aimed at organising activities associated with Detty December in Lagos.

The company announced the preseason rollout of its Festival and Travel Experience System, a platform developed to coordinate travel, events, and related services during the ember-month festivities.

Lagos records a spike in travel, nightlife, and social events every December, with packed flights, overlapping programmes, and increased movement across the city. The period attracts visitors from within Nigeria and abroad for concerts, festivals, cultural events, and social gatherings.

However, the growing scale of Detty December has also highlighted challenges, including fragmented planning, unverified information, concerns about safety during night movement, and the absence of a structured system to manage activities during the period.

FESTXP Africa said its platform is designed to address these gaps by providing a centralised system for visitors travelling to Lagos from across Nigeria, the African continent, and the diaspora.

According to the company, the platform aggregates information on events, verified accommodation, transport services, curated tours, nightlife circuits, and concierge services, delivered through vetted vendors.

The company described the system as an infrastructure layer for Lagos’ most economically active and culturally significant season.

FESTXP Africa said the preseason rollout allows event organisers, hospitality providers, short-let operators, transport services, tour guides, and concierge teams to onboard ahead of Detty December 2026.

It added that the platform is designed to evolve with the expansion of December activities in Lagos, with the aim of improving coordination, safety, and overall visitor experience.

The company said the FESTXP Africa mobile application is available on iOS and Google Play stores, noting that the rollout marks the beginning of preparations for Detty December 2026.
