The First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON has commiserated with the Wife of the Vice President, Hajia Nana Shettima; and wife of the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Hafsat Ganduje over the loss of their mothers, reports thegazellenews.com 

Hajia Maryam Albishir, mother of the Vice President’s Wife died on Sunday, 23 June, 2024, at the age of 69 while the mother of Professor Hafsat Ganduje, Hajia Asiya Gautama’s death was announced early Monday, 24 June, 2024.

Both deceased persons were buried in Kano on Monday, 24 June, 2024.

Senator Tinubu described the loss of the two matriarchs as “painful and great personal losses to you and your families”.

The First Lady stated further  that, “during this difficult time, may Allah comfort you and may you find solace in the remembrance of their good deeds and virtues that they stood for.

“May Allah forgive all their shortcomings and grant them Al-janah Firdaus, Ameen”.
