GAC Secretary Mutiu Are Lauds Lagos Island LG Chairman for Construction Onikoyi, Oja-oba Roads

The Secretary of the Governance Advisory Council (GAC) and Southwest representative on the board of the North East Development Commission (NEDC), Alhaji Mutiu Are has commended the Chairman of Lagos Island Local Government, Prince Taiwo Oyekan for his impressive performance in office so far, reports thegazellenews.com

Alhaji Are particularly commended the Lagos Island LG Chairman for the successful construction and commissioning of Onikoyi Street and Oja-oba road.

“The Lagos Island Local Government Chairman, Prince Taiwo Oyekan, has done a magnificent job on Lagos Island,” the APC chieftain said.

The GAC Secretary urged residents of the communities where the roads are located to take ownership of the projects.

“The residents should take ownership of these laudable projects and ensure the roads are properly maintained by avoiding activities that may damage them,” he said.

Alhaji Are also assured Prince Oyekan of his continuous support.

“The Chairman can always count on my continuous support,” Alhaji Are assured.
