Nollywood actress and producer Toyin Abraham has revealed that her husband, actor Kolawole Ajeyemi, once threatened to end their marriage if she did not quit smoking.

Abraham made the disclosure in a recent episode of The Morayo Show, where she opened up about the personal sacrifices she made to preserve her marriage and the profound influence her husband has had on her life and career.

She said she was a cigarette addict but gave up the habit because she valued her marriage too much to risk losing it.

While she credited her husband as one of the best things that ever happened to her, she admitted that she still vapes despite quitting cigarettes.

“My husband, Kolawole Ajeyemi, is one of the best things that ever happened to me,” she said.

“He lets me shine and be me. I used to be a cigarette addict but he warned me that if I don’t stop smoking our marriage won’t work. I had to stop it because I valued my marriage. Well, I have stopped cigarettes but I still do vapes.”

Abraham described her husband as supportive rather than controlling, saying he allows her to do whatever makes her happy provided it is safe.
