Leaders of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), in Ido Local Government Area of Oyo State, on Monday, 10 July, 2023, endorsed the current Executive Chairman of Ido Local Government, Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo for second term in office.
This followed a meeting, which held in the council, with Pa Mallam Yussuf and some other PDP leaders in attendance.
They described Hon. Sheriff Adeojo as grassroots politician that fits the job, saying he has leadership qualities that stand him out.
“Sheriff Adeojo has shown good leadership in every nook and crannies of our council and we are feeling the positive impacts of his administration. We believe in his leadership style,” one of the leaders said.
Others personalities at the meeting include: Alhaja Kafilat Olayiwola, former state Commissioner for Women Affairs; Hon. Adeoye, PDP Leader; Hon. Abdullahi Tijani, Leader; Hon. Bamidele, LG Secretary; and Hon. Olawaye Gbenga JP, Ido PDP Party Secretary.
Others are: Alhaji Wasiu Akinsola, Ward 1 PDP Chairman; Alhaji Safiu Ayinde, Ward 2 PDP Chairman; Hon. Bimbo Akande, Ward 4 Chairman; Chief Jimoh Dauda, Ward 5 Chairman; Alhaji Wasiu Aminu, Ward 6 Chairman; Hon. azeez Olaide, Ward 8 Chairman; and Hon. Adedayo Afolabi, Ward 10 Chairman among others.
