A group within the Ifako-Ijaiye chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), the Golden Group of Lagos has endorsed the re-election of member representing Ifako-Ijaiye State Constituency I in the Lagos State House of Assembly, Honourable Temitope ‘Jah’ Adewale for a third term in office, reports thegazellenews.com
The group led by Honourable Femi Afikuyomi on Sunday, 7 December, 2025 held a public endorsement programme for the lawmaker.
At the event which took place at the Group’s secretariat on Omidiji Street, Iju, Honourable Afikuyomi said Honourable Adwale deserves another term in office because he has made the people of Ifako-Ijaiye State Constituency I proud with his robust representation and service to the people.
Afikuyomi stated that the lawmaker has transformed political representation in the local government.
The Golden Group leader recalled how the lawmaker saved the life of a sick patient who could not be admitted to the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) due to lack of bed space.
“We could neither get the CMD nor the state Commissioner for Health for assistance. We spoke to Honourable Adewale, he not only rushed to LASUTH but also ensured the transfer of the patient to a private hospital and paid the medical bill in full,” Afikuyomi said.
Goodwill messages were delivered by the trio of a former member of the House of Representatives, Honourable Nurudeen Olaitan; former Secretary of Ifako-Ijaiye Local Education Authority (LGEA), Honourable Murizik Balogun; and the Woman Leader of Ifako-Ijaiye APC, Alhaja Adeyinka Fetuga.
They all praised Golden Group for taking the bold step, urging the people of Ifako-Ijaiye to support Honourable Jah as he is a worthy representative of the local government so far.
Honourable Oluyomi Isaac Ajasa, Jah’s Special Adviser, who represented him at the event expressed appreciation to the Golden Group for the honour.
He assured that the lawmaker will continue to put in place people-oriented programmes to enhance the welfare of his constituents.
