The Chairman of Alimosho Local Government, Hon. Akinpelu Ibrahim Johnson, has called on residents of the council area, particularly youths, to take advantage of the Federal Government’s National Directorate of Employment (NDE) programmes designed to combat unemployment and promote self-reliance.

According to the Chairman, the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a transformative initiative aimed at strengthening the local, micro, and national economy.

He stated, “The Federal Government is making significant investments across various sectors to ensure improved living standards for our people and secure a prosperous future for all Nigerians.

“At the local level, our administration has initiated and implemented several programmes, while more are being developed to further stimulate economic growth and development within Alimosho. I therefore urge our youths to take full advantage of this opportunity, which will empower them to become entrepreneurs and chief executive officers of their own businesses.”

Hon. Johnson noted that the NDE programme offers a wide range of opportunities, including entrepreneurial development, vocational skills acquisition, renewable energy training, and agricultural enterprise development, among other benefits.

Interested participants can access further information and register through the NDE portal at www.nderegistrationportal.ng.
