The glovesman for Bendel Insurance, Umar Ahmad Jalingo, is dead.
The Media Officer of Bendel Insurance, Kehinde Osagiede, announced this in a statement h issued to the press on Thursday, 28 May, 2020.
The statement read: ”We are sad to announce the passing of one of our goalkeepers, Umar Ahmad Jalingo.
“The deceased player’s family source broke the sad news to Insurance Team Manager, Coach Bernard Ogbe this morning.
“He was said to have been discharged from the Federal Teaching Hospital, Gombe on Wednesday.
“Umar Jalingo, 27, died at the early hours of today (Thursday) during illness.”
The Gazelle News.com reports that left to mourn the decease are: his wife, Hajia Zuleha and four children and his remains will be buried later on Friday, 29 May, 2020 according to Islamic rites and traditions
