The Deputy Majority Leader of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. (Prince) Adedamola Richard Kasunmu (ARK), on Monday, 9 February 2026, praised the leadership and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ikeja Constituency II for the remarkable success recorded during the party’s recently concluded membership e-registration exercise, reports thegazellenews.com
Addressing the coordinating agents who supervised the three centres he established across the constituency, Hon. Kasunmu specifically thanked the state APC Chairman, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi; the state Organising Secretary, Comrade Ayodele Adewale; and other state officers of the party for their roles in achieving the impressive outcome of the registration exercise in Ikeja Constituency II.

The Deputy Majority Leader also commended the state Chairman for facilitating the gadgets deployed at the ARK centres.
He further applauded the APC LGA Chairmen for Ikeja and Ojodu, Alhaji Adekunle Dally-Adeokun and Alhaja Stella Kokumo respectively, as well as the Chairman of Ikeja LGA, Hon. Akeem Dauda, and his Ojodu LCDA counterpart, Hon. Segun Odunmbaku, for their selfless contributions to the success of the exercise.
The ranking lawmaker gave the commendations while hosting the coordinating agents at an appraisal and thank-you meeting held at his Constituency Office in Ikeja.
It would be recalled that at the onset of the registration drive, Hon. Kasunmu set up three fully equipped centres to complement the party’s efforts and ensure a seamless process for intending members. The centres were strategically located at his Constituency Office on Seriki Aro Street, Ward E (Ikeja); opposite Goshen Plaza, Ojodu Berger; and Computer Village, Ward A (Ikeja).
Each centre has two digital tablets, a multipurpose smart printer, a 5G internet router with a 100GB data subscription, electricity extension cables, packets of A4 printing paper, as well as canopies, chairs, and tables throughout the 22-day exercise, among other essential facilities.
To enhance operational efficiency, the lawmaker engaged two party members per centre as coordinating agents.
At Computer Village, Mr. Adesanya Adelaja and Hadjia Monsurat Kelani served as coordinators.
The centre at the lawmaker’s Constituency Office on Seriki Aro Street was coordinated by Mr. Seun Makinde and Alhaja Kudirat Adebayo, while the Ojodu Berger centre was overseen by Mrs. Oloruntoyin Akinbode and Mr. Michael Amoo (Olumike), with support from Mr. Gabriel.
All the coordinating agents, as well as the Councillor representing Ojodu Ward F, Hon. Abbas Abiodun Bismilahi, attended the appraisal meeting with Hon. Kasunmu.
Following the official conclusion of the exercise on Sunday, 8 February 2026, the appreciation meeting featured comprehensive reports from the coordinators, highlighting operational processes, challenges encountered, overall impact, and valuable feedback from participants.
They commended the Deputy Majority Leader for his support, noting that it significantly boosted the exercise and contributed immensely to the overall success of the programme.
Hon. Adedamola Richard Kasunmu thanked the coordinators for a job well done, applauded their dedicated loyalty to the party, and further commended all stakeholders for the successful conduct of the membership registration exercise across the Ikeja and Ojodu axis of the constituency.
