Governor Dikko Umaru Radda of Katsina State on Sunday, 20 July, 2025 was hospitalised following a car accident that occurred while he was travelling from Daura to Katsina.
He was returning to the state capital after receiving dignitaries who visited Daura to condole with the family of the late former President Muhammadu Buhari.
According to sources, the Governor sustained a fracture as a result of the accident and was immediately taken to the Federal Medical Centre (FMC) in Daura for medical attention.
He is currently receiving treatment. His condition is said to be under control, and he is responding well to treatment.
