The Chairman of Agbado-Okeodo Local Council Development Area, Lagos, Southwest, Nigeria, Mayor Abiodun Jimoh Isola (Ejigbadero) has disclosed that the establishment of Kola Ultra-modern Shopping Complex in Alagbado will greatly improve the economy of the council and by extension Lagos State.
The council Chairman made the disclosure through the Vice Chairman of the council, Hon Shobayo Kehinde who unveiled two notice boards, signalling commencement of construction of the shopping complex.

“History is being made today here in Agbado-Okeodo LCDA, as I unveil two notice boards for construction of Kola ultra modern shopping complex in Alagbado , the first of its kind in the history of our council,” the council’s helmsman stated.
He continued, “After the demolition of illegal structures on the expanse of land under power lines by the Lagos State Government, our council approached the state government for its approval to turn the place to an ultra modern shopping mall and after going through our proposal,a clear cut condition was given to us that the land will be strictly used for shopping complex and no structure will be erected under the power lines , thereafter, the approval was given and we went further to search for a qualified real estate development firm and at the end of the search, we awarded the construction work to Tundass Nigeria Limited,” Mayor Isola submitted.

He assured residents of Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA that his administration is working assiduously to impact their lives positively with its various projects and programmes.
Speaking after the unveiling of the notice boards, the Chief Executive Officer of Tundass Nig. Ltd, Chief Babatunde Ajaga explained that the expanse of land, about four hectares will occupy over 200 standard lock-up shops and open stalls with enough parking space and well lit environment that will compete with reputable shopping malls within and outside Lagos State.
Engr Ajaga added that open stalls will be provided to enable not well to do traders have access to trade in the shopping mall. He also disclosed that the lock-up shops and open stalls will be on lease hold arrangement.
He concluded that work will commence on the shopping complex Tuesday, 16 December, 2025, after the foundation laying ceremony is performed by Chairman of Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA, Mayor Abiodun Jimoh Isola.
The Vice Chairman, Hon Shobayo was accompanied to the unveiling ceremony by the Deputy Chief Of Staff to the Council Chairman, Mr Oriade Ademola; the Head of Public Affairs Unit,Chief Rabiu Hassan; and the council’s Market Master, Alhaja Bakare Zainab.
