Lagos APC Mourns Ajimobi; Says He Was A Principled Democrat

The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has commiserated with the family of the deceased ex-Governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi.
Lagos APC also commiserated with members and leaders of the party throughout the country particularly the Oyo State chapter over the loss.
This was contained in a statement released on Thursday, 25 June, 2020 signed by the spokesman for Lagos APC, Honourable Seye Oladejo.
According to the statement, the late Ajimobi not only left indelible marks in the private sector as a Chief Executive, he also served his people meritoriously in the public sector, first as a Senator, then as a two-term Governor of Oyo State.
“Senator Ajimobi was well known for his eloquence, passion about the welfare of his people and a principled position to democratic ideals.
“There’s no doubt that he died at a time his experience as an astute administrator and leader is needed most in the party in particular and the nation as a whole.
“May Almighty Allah forgive his sins , repose his souls and give his family and numerous admirers the fortitude to bear this great loss,” the statement added.
