The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has expressed sadness over the passing of Chief Mrs. Bola Shobowale, Executive Chairman of Ayobo-Ipaja Local Council Development Area (LCDA), reports thegazellenews.com.
Thegazellenews.com reports that Mrs Sobowale’s death was announced on Friday, 21 March, 2025 after a protracted illness.
According to Hon. Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, state APC Chairman, Chief Mrs. Sobowale’s demise is a tremendous loss to the party, the state, and the people of Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA.
Ojelabi in a statement issued on Sunday, 23 March, 2025 described the late council boss as a visionary leader, compassionate administrator, and dedicated servant of the people.
“Chief Mrs. Sobowale’s commitment to the community’s well-being was evident in her numerous initiatives that benefited the residents of Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA.
“Her leadership and legacy will never be forgotten, and her memories will continue to inspire strength and peace.
“Before her illness, Chief Mrs. Sobowale was a committed and dedicated servant of the people, a seasoned administrator, and a loyal party member. The Lagos APC, the community, friends, and family will deeply miss her vibrancy,” the Lagos APC Chairman said.
Ojelabi prayed to God to accept her soul and grant the family and all who knew her the strength to bear the huge loss.
The party Chairman noted that, Mrs Sobowale’s passing, has left a profound void in the community she served with unwavering commitment stressing that her transformative leadership and dedication to grassroots development was widely respected.
“The Lagos State APC will deeply miss her contributions to the party and the state,” he noted.
