The Lagos State House of Assembly on Tuesday, 12 September, 2023, confirmed Honourable Tolani Akibu Sule for membership of the state cabinet, reports thegazellenews.com.

Tolani Sule was the last nominee to be confirmed by the House.

His confirmation was earlier put on hold by the Lawmakers on Thursday, 7 September, 2023 when the lawmakers confirmed 15 of the 18 nominees who made up the list of the second batch submitted to the House.

While the duo of Sam Egube and Lanre Odusote were outrightly rejected, Tolani Sule’s confirmation was put on hold.

At the sitting on Tuesday, 12 September, 2023, the matter was revisited and the Speaker of the Assembly, Rt Hon Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa called for a voice vote and Tolani Sule was cleared for swearing-in which takes place on Wednesday, 13 September, 2023.
