The GYMFEST Championship 2.0 will be remembered as one of the most outstanding sporting events in Lagos in recent times, as young gymnasts, mostly under-10-year-old children, dazzled and entertained the large crowd present at the event.
The excellently curated gymnastics event is the brainchild of the Society of Performing Arts in Nigeria and Tee Tumblers Gymnastics Club, with Ms. Yoyin Akpose serving as the Programme Director of the event.
The Director General of the Lagos State Sports Commission, Hon. Lekan Fatodu, who was among the top dignitaries present at the occasion, stated that the deliberate actions of Governor Sanwo-Olu’s administration in developing sports and supporting sporting endeavours in Lagos will continue to provide opportunities for growth, shape the lives of young Lagosians positively, and advance social stability and cohesion @lf_champ
